Because of the international nature of the waterways, the available European and Rhine navigation regulations are also included under useful information in the right-hand column.
The most recent consolidated versions available are provided. However, for legally accurate information, we refer to the Belgian Official Gazette via this database.
Within Flanders, work is underway on an inland navigation decree. The federal government is also working on a navigation code. Both regulatory frameworks aim to simplify the regulatory landscape. When these texts are published, you will be informed here.
